Woman arrested behind wheel of school bus for violating DUI law

Although no one was injured, a Georgia woman is in hot water after allegedly driving a school bus that she did not have permission to access. Police ultimately arrested her for driving without a license, felony theft, violating DUI law and various other allegations. It is not clear if she has been granted bail, but authorities are still continuing their investigation.

Police in Georgia arrest 2 for allegedly violating drug law

A tip led police to search a Georgia area home where they allegedly found a significant amount of illegal drugs. The home's residents were subsequently arrested for violating state and federal drug law prohibiting the possession or sale of methamphetamine, the drug that authorities supposedly discovered. They are both currently behind held without bond.

Marine succumbs to extensive injury suffered in motorcycle wreck

A devastating accident cost the life of a Georgia-native Marine while he was home on leave to care for his mother. After suffering an extensive injury in a motorcycle accident, the young serviceman lost his life. Shortly after his death, a memorial ceremony was held at the naval air station where he was stationed.

Truck's raised flatbed strikes overpass

Interstate 20 was a traffic disaster yesterday after a truck collided with an overpass earlier in the day. The truck's flatbed was apparently raised, and it struck the overpass. At this point, there is very little information as to why the truck's flatbed was raised. Other cars that were traveling behind the truck were hit by debris, but it does not appear anyone was injured as a result. The truck driver was injured in the wreck and was taken to a hospital.

Georgia men arrested for allegedly violating drug law

Police in Georgia say they recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars in illegal drugs following a raid regarding suspected narcotic activity. Two men were arrested for allegedly violating state and federal drug law. They have since been accused of various drug trafficking charges.
